PROGRAMMES

Digital literacy is essential for economic growth, education, and well-being- it is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. Yet, for the majority of learners in South Africa, this remains out of reach. Many lack access to the tools and opportunities needed to succeed in a technology-driven future.

Through our work we are changing this narrative.

Future Forward Workshops

Through tailored career guidance sessions and practical information on accessing opportunities and digital tools, we aim to help students make informed decisions about their futures.

PURPOSE

These sessions are designed to inspire confidence, broaden horizons, and ensure learners are well-prepared to take the next step toward their career goals.

METHOD

We believe these workshops provide learners with the confidence, hope, and resources they need to thrive as they transition from high school into the working world. To support this journey, we use the MyNext Workbook and the Career Xplora application during our sessions.

PROGRESS

Through partnerships with organisations like Ashoka Africa, Global Changemakers, and the Trevor Noah Foundation, we’ve already implemented a range of impactful workshops in Gauteng, reaching over 500 learners. The feedback from participants highlights just how valuable these sessions are and we’re committed to expanding them across the country.

Digital Learning Lab

We aim to establish state-of-the-art digital learning labs in safe and secure environments, giving learners from under-resourced schools access to computers and digital tools that unlock opportunities for growth, learning, and future employment.

PURPOSE

The learning labs will offer various programs in digital literacy and educational opportunities. The program plan and offerings will depend on the respective partner schools’ schedules and the needs of the learners.

METHOD

These labs will be accessible to learners who would not otherwise have access to digital tools. We aim to secure safe, well-equipped facilities and create a welcoming, supportive environment that is conducive to learning.

PROGRESS

We are currently in the process of securing a suitable and safe location for this transformative project. The initial setup cost is estimated at R1.3 million, and we cannot bring it to life without your support. If you would like to review the proposed budget and implementation plans, we’d be happy to share them upon request.
